Description and use
Ibiscus Sabdariffa sepals are dried and pulverised to obtain a gorgeous purple-red scented powder that gives shine to the hair and balances any excess of yellow in blond colours.
It can be added to any mix to add strength and vibrance to a colour, or customise a tone.
Our plant-based powder is unadulterated and it did not undergo any chemical process.
Hibiscus flowers have antiseptic, astringent, emollient and tonic properties. Thanks to its high content of oligopeptides, it has an anti-ageing action that fights oxidation and biological degradation, and it is also suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
Did you know…?
Hibiscus is included in all our herbal teas; its flowers are used to make a refreshing drink called Karkade.
Widespread in all Pacific islands, its flower is Hawaii’s national symbol, and it’s traditionally woven into garlands given to tourists as a token of welcome. Hawaiian women wear this flower in their hair, behind their left ear if unmarried, behind the right one if married, and behind both when they already have a partner but they are looking for a new lover.
